Koa ‘E Kea: Music and Coloring Book from Hawai’i for the Children of the World

This is the second iteration of a songbook that was created in the summer of 1990 in Hawai’i. At that time, I was a mother of young children who enjoyed playing on the beach and discovering the magical wonders of our world. We lived in the small and unique community of Sunset Beach, where young and old creative souls drew happiness from living simply with Mother Nature. Now, 35 years after Koaʻe Kea was first conceived, I reprint this book, in tribute to Mother Nature and the Magical Realm of Creativity. A beautiful bonus to this second edition are 6 poems by Zoe Louise Hartman, my gifted 10-year old granddaughter. I have featured a taste of her artistry within these pages to remind you how wisdom is ageless. And to remind us to enjoy the Earth’s Bounty, improve our environment whenever we can, and most of all, clean up our mess!
